Landing on water (on purpose) is one of the most thrilling experiences you will ever have in an airplane. High Flight Aviation lets you earn your seaplane rating quickly and most importantly, with more fun than you’ve ever had in or out of an airplane!
Course Overview
High Flight Aviation offers a unique experience to add to your pilot resume. Our course is currently done January through March on the Colorado River and Lake Havasu and May-September in the beautiful Northern Idaho (Lake Coeur d’Alene, Lake Pend Orielle) area. Bring your significant other, family and dog with you and let them relax on the beach while you land on some water (while they watch)!
HFA offers Seaplane Courses to accommodate most everyone’s tastes. Whether you are looking for an add-on rating for your current certificate or a new Commercial Certificate with Seaplane privileges, we have a course that will work for you. Now, with the new regulations in place with the FAA that state Commercial certificates do not have to be done in a complex airplane, we can not only help you get your seaplane rating add-on, but also your commercial certificate.
